CRAFT FAIR, LAUNCESTON

Yesterday was a fun day. I went along to the craft fair to see the quilts that were on display. It was put together by the Tasmanian Quilting Guild.

Here are a few pictures from the Launceston Craft Fair I went to yesterday at the Silverdome. There were so many beautiful quilts and things to see it was hard to decide which one was my favourite

Some of them are a bit blurry. The lighting was poor and my hands shaky. Sorry about that.

After seeing all these beautiful coloured creations I was inspired to get back to work on my Mrs Billings Coverlet quilt. Sunday will be Sew day from now on.

Baltimore Applique quilt.
Dahlia pieced medallion.
Mrs Billings Coverlet quilt. This is what I am working on at the moment. My colours are in reds, pinks, blacks and browns.
Another Baltimore style applique.
Amazing colours.

If I had to choose a favourite one it would be this one. Probably because I love the colours and the bouquet in the middle.

This was a whole cloth quilt machine embroidered with sparkly bling all over it.

Machine embroidered Tiger was really beautiful.

I loved the colours in this one as well. I have always wanted to make a star quilt like this. Maybe later after I finish others. This star is traditionally Amish.
