Yesterday was a great day although I thought I would be posting this post when I came home last night. Thanks to technical issues on Facebook I spent all night into the wee hours uploading pictures over there.
My friends Leanne and Erica and I went over to Melbourne for the Australasian Quilt Convention which was held at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton Gardens.
There was so much to see there in the way of quilting supplies and quilts that were on display. I cant put all the photos here but here are a few anyway.
Next post will be of all the stuff I bought :) overall a very productive and really great day.

| After a long walk down from Carlton Gardens we stopped here for a snack before making our way back to the airport to catch our flight home. Melbourne is vibrant and full of activity late in the afternoon. |
